The state of California collects detailed information on every licensed care provider in the state. State records include licensing status, citations, background checks, location, and contact information.

The statewide network of child care resource and referral agencies enhance the information with hours and days of operation, ages served, rates, details on services such as transportation and food, vacancy and availability information (as well as license exempt programs like school-age centers and exempt preschool programs).

My Child Care Plan utilizes all this data to help California families find child care that meets their needs.

If you want to opt out from being shown on the site, you can opt out by contacting your local child care resource and referral agency.
